Social Studies

In Social Studies we use the Core Knowledge curriculum to study geography, history, culture, government, economics, citizenship, technology and more as we learn about the world that we live in and it's history.  Students will use multiple forms of media, (text, video, music, maps, diagrams, charts, etc.) to gain access to information about Social Studies topics.

We'll sometimes work independently, with partners, and in small groups to accomplish our learning objectives. There may also be some Social Studies projects that will need to be completed outside of class.  Information will come home about these projects when they're assigned.
